Psychocross #3

  • Dorris Ranch 205 Dorris St, Springfield, OR 97477 Springfield, OR (map)

Psychocross 2019 is a series of three races on November 30, December 1, and December 8, 2019, held at the beautiful and historic Dorris Ranch in Springfield Oregon. The course will be majority dirt with some gravel and grass, roughly 1.25 mile laps with no pavement and no sustained climbs. There will be 4 or more barriers per lap.

These events are for everyone from beginners (if Psychocross will be your first cyclocross race, feel free to use the contact form linked below to ask any questions) to experienced athletes making a final tune-up before Cyclocross Nationals!

Please carpool or ride to the venue as possible. If you choose to ride, storage for your bag is available in the registration barn, and changing space is available in the newly renovated restrooms. Cascadian Courier Collective will be on hand to transport your heavy items (pop-up tents, heaters, etc.) from the parking lot to the start/finish field with cargo bike.

Dogs are welcome at Dorris Ranch; please keep them on a leash. Show your appreciation for our wonderful hosts, the Willamalane Park and Recreation District, by adhering to park rules.

Neutral support in the pit will be provided by Bicycle Way of Life; neutral wheels thanks to Rolf Prima.

The top three of each of 18 categories will be awarded trophies (points awarded to top 10 finishers each day, points combined for final total). Cash prizes from Twilight Operations for series top three of Men 1/2 and Women 1/2 ($75/50/25). Additional prizes for from Landspeed’s Fix, Muc-Off, and Co-Motion Cycles. Awards will be presented on December 8th as results become available. Special prizing for Women’s 4/5 field: six-pack of Oakshire Brewing beer for top 5 finishers of each day, provided by West Coast Women’s Cycling.

Please check your results at obra.org following the first two races; any corrections/questions must be addressed to the results official (email address listed at the top of the results page) within 24 hours of the results being posted.
