This is a five part time trial series up McBeth Road (approx. 3 miles, paved, with 800ft of ascent). Parking and staging at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (85780 McBeth Road), 5 miles southwest of Eugene. Racers will start at 30 second intervals starting at 6:30pm. Map and profile here.
Registration will be available online until 12pm on each race day and on site from 5:30-6:15pm.
An OBRA license is required; either an annual license ($35 for adults, $10 for juniors) or one-event license ($5 for adults, free for juniors) is available online (with the purchase of your race entry) or on site.
You can complete your waiver on site or print and bring it with you.
Wear your race number on your RIGHT side. You may wear your OBRA race number; a number will be provided if you don’t have one. A helmet must be worn at all times on the bike.
This series is supported in 2019 by the generosity of two members of our racing community who wish to remain anonymous.

Be aware of riders in front of you. DO NOT RIDE WITH YOUR EYES DOWN
Ride to the right of the road as possible; safe passing is the responsibility of the overtaking rider. Drafting is not allowed. Crossing the centerline will result in disqualification.
Pre-registration is $17 per race or $70 for the 5-race series (add $5 for on-site registration). $2 for each race entry will be donated to the scholarship fund of the local NICA league, Eugene MTB Racing (mountain bike racing for middle and high school student athletes). (Special discounts apply to members of Eugene MTB Racing! Talk to your coaches for entry info.)
Prizes:
Series standings will be based on the racer’s combined four fastest finishing times (racers may skip one race or drop their slowest time to be scored in the series standings). Top ten male and female finishers will receive medals. There will be a :30 bonus deducted from the cumulative time of racers who also complete the Mary’s Peak Hill Climb on June 8th.
The two riders with the fastest one-night men’s and women’s times of the month will win $75.
A raffle of merchandise and gift certificates for all participants will be held at the July 30th awards ceremony. Participants will earn one raffle ticket for each race they entered.
