This four-day series will take place on November 27th and 28th and December 4th and 5th on an all-new course 2 miles southwest of Veneta. Food, showers, beverage, and camping will be available on site. Accommodations for Friday and Saturday nights include tent camping spots, car camping spots, plus a limited number of yurts and cabins.
Tamales, burritos, tacos, quesedillas and soft drinks by Vianey’s Tamales will be available for sale for lunch and the afternoon. Beer, wine, and cider will be available starting at 11am each day (beverage sales are cash only).
Course description: In the forested hills outside of Veneta, Oregon, this course has you riding owl the single track and elevation change that you could desire. You can expect to have a hoot on gravel roads, muddy ravines, stairs, twisty-turns and a run up that will have you hollerin’. You'll fly over five barriers per lap. Keep your head on a swivel for mushrooms in the forest! Some course features will be modified each day of the series.
Registration for races is open online until noon on Friday, November 26 for the first weekend and noon on Friday, December 3rd for the second weekend. After this time, you must register on site. Pre-register to race for $30 per race date ($15 for junior racers) or $100 ($55 for juniors) for the four race series. Pre-register for the relay race (Saturdays only) for $10 per team member ($5 for juniors), 2-4 members per team. On site registration will open at 9am each day and close 15 minutes before each start time (add $10 for on site registration). A 2021 Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) license is required to race; you may provide your license number or purchase a temporary license ($5). For additional races for the same racer on the same day, pre-register for $10).

Numbers will be provided; please check in at registration for your number and to compete the venue waiver before your first race of the series. For subsequent races, you do not need to check in.
A helmet must be worn at all times when on the bike at the venue. Racer and spectator parking are a short distance from the course via walking trail with stairs (or a short ride by gravel road); a parking volunteer will direct you if you need to approach the course by vehicle to deliver a team tent or if you have accessibility concerns.
The scenic and heavily wooded race course will be a combination of dirt, grass and gravel, fire roads and trails with climbing and 5-6 barriers. Pre-riding times are included in the schedule; please do not pre-ride at other times.

3:20pm (Saturdays only) - Relay race!
For the relay race, your team of 2-4 riders must complete a total of four laps (each team member must complete at least one lap). One team member is racing at any time, and transition between riders occurs in a marked transition zone near the finish line by means of fist bump. The fastest team of each Saturday wins a Large Owl trophy.
Results will be posted when available and made available at obra.org. Please address any concerns by following the link on the obra.og results page to contact the official in charge within 24 hours of posting.
First place finisher of each category on each day may collect a prize at registration. Series awards will be presented throughout the final race day as results are completed (December 5th). Cash prizes for 1/2 and women’s 1/2 categories three deep (100/75/50). Series top three of each category will receive prizes, value to exceed $2,500.
