Overview
The first race of the series will take place at Jack B. Lively Memorial Park in Springfield, Oregon. The second and third races of the month will be at Dorris Ranch Park.
Twilight Cyclocross 2024 is a series of three races on Wednesday evenings of September, held at a new venue for the first race of the month, Lively Park in Springfield Oregon. The course will be mostly gravel and grass with some dirt and rocks, roughly 1.1 mile laps with no pavement and no sustained climbs. There will be 2 or more barriers per lap.
These events are for everyone from beginners to elite athletes. Required equipment: a non-motorized bicycle with operational brakes, close-toed shoes, and a helmet (Review your OBRA racing rules) If Twilight Cyclocross will be your first cyclocross race, feel free to use the contact form linked below to ask any questions.
Please carpool or ride your bike to the race venue (and everywhere else on every other day) if possible.

Helmets required at all times on the bike at the race venue!
Dogs are welcome at Dorris Ranch; please keep them on a leash. Show your appreciation for our wonderful hosts, the Willamalane Park and Recreation District, by adhering to park rules.
Awards
The top three racers for the series in each category will be awarded medals (Cumulative series points awarded to top 10 finishers of the category of each race). Additional prizes will be posted as the race approaches.
Prizes will be awarded at the post-series awards party at The Pedaler after the race series.
Race numbers on the left side. All racers must visit the check-in tent to report their race number. Temporary numbers will be available for non-OBRA members.
Course Information
Online registration closes at noon on the day of each race.
Online registration fees are $15 per race ($10 for juniors) or $40 ($25 for juniors) for the 3-race series. Any racer may add an additional race on the same day for $10.
Registration is available on-site up to 15 minutes prior to your event. For on-site registration add $5 dollars to the online registration fee.
Discounted entries are available for volunteers! If you are able to help out with setup and/or teardown, use the contact form for your entry code.
An Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) license is required for participation; the 2024 annual license ($50 for adults, $10 for juniors) is available at any time at www.obra.org or one-event license ($5 for adults, free for juniors) is available for purchase with your registration.
FOR MASTERS AND JUNIORS CATEGORIES: Your racing age for the 2024 cyclocross season is your age on December 31st, 2025.
Schedule
4:30 pm: Check-in and pre-ride of the course opens. Please do not pre-ride before this time, as volunteers will be completing the course construction. If you arrive early, lend a hand or warm up elsewhere.
5:30 pm: Race Duration: 15 minutes
Juniors (racing age 9-18)
Junior women (racing age 9-18)
For Juniors, your racing age for the 2024 season is your age on December 31st, 2025. Racers with the actual age 8-11 may only race at 5:30pm. Racers with an actual age of 12 or older may also register in the 5:50 or 6:35 races.
5:50 pm: Race Duration: 35 minutes
