Course Description
Check out this exceptional cross venue located on the school grounds of Oak Hill School in South Eugene, Oregon. This facility features rolling open fields, oak meadows, tricky off camber, and flowing descents. Powerful riders will find success charging the hills, skilled riders will quickly close down any gaps on slippery off-camber and fast descents. Excellent spectating opportunities and very convenient access make this a bright venue for cyclocross racing in the South Willamette Valley.
Accommodations
Joining us from out of town? Stay at our preferred rate hotel accommodations located just minutes from Oak Hill School in Springfield, Oregon. Special discount pricing for these rooms are no longer available but you can contact the hotel for a reservation..
Registration
Pre-registration for races will be open online until 5pm on Friday, December 6th. After this time, you must register on site.
On site registration will open at 8am each day and close 15 minutes before each start time. A 2024 Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) license is required to race; you may provide your license number or purchase a temporary license ($5).

Mountain Bike Open is a category for any rider who is on a mountain bike. Mountain bike is defined by tires wider than 1.65” or 42mm and may not have drop bars to qualify as a mountain bike. No ebikes!
Volunteer
Registration fee waivers are available for volunteers! Use the contact form to get in touch if you are willing to help. We need assistance with course setup and tear down as well as course maintenance during the event.

Event schedule is slightly modified from the normal OBRA Cyclocross race schedule to allow for more travel time and later race starts for our first categories. Please note your start time carefully!

Numbers
Numbers will be provided; please check in at registration for your number and to compete the venue waiver before your first race of the series. For subsequent races, you do not need to check in.
Numbers will be worn on the left.
Safety
A helmet must be worn at all times when on the bike at the venue
Many course hazards exist, always pre-ride the course and ride within your limits
A qualified first aid provider is always on-site during race hours
OBRA and the organizers of this race do not provide insurance coverage for injuries that occur at the race. The costs related to those injuries are the responsibility of the individual participants.
Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason.
Results
Results will be posted when available at obra.org. Please address any concerns by following the link on the obra.org results page to contact the official in charge within 24 hours of posting.
Awards
Series medals for top three in each scored category. Points are awarded 5 deep in each category on the following schedule:
1st - 5 points
2nd - 4 points
3rd - 3 points
4th - 2 points
5th - 1 point
Highest total from the two-day series wins.

Ties
Ties will be broken by OBRA’s standard omnium tie-breaking rules (OBRA Rules).
In case of a tie on total points, the tie will be broken in favor of the rider who has:
The most first place finishes or, if still tied, the most second place finishes, etc., or if still tied;
The highest placing in the last race, or the race nearest the last race of the omnium in which at least one of the tied riders placed.
Sanctioning
Our races are sanctioned under the rules and regulations of the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA). All rules, regulation and codes of conduct set forth by the sanctioning bodies will be in affect during the entirety of the event. OBRA membership required for all riders at OBRA sanctioned races. OBRA single race memberships are available onsite for $5.00. Season OBRA memberships are available online.

Venue Information
Parking
Plentiful racer and spectator parking are a short distance from the course. Please park in identified parking areas or in overflow parking at Lane Community College a short distance away. No overnight parking allowed at the school.
Dogs
No dogs allowed on school grounds.
Camping
No overnight camping. Overnight camping is not permitted at the venue. Venue closes at sun down each evening. Van or tent camping is available on the banks of the McKenzie River with advance reservations at Armitage Park.
Team Tents
For team tent/vehicle access there is priority parking available adjacent to the course. See course map for details.

Team tents may be setup on Friday afternoon starting at 4:30pm
Some neutral tents will be provided. The white topped tents are available to any and all racers for staying dry. Please share nicely.
Team tents may be left overnight between races, please secure all tents if left overnight.

Pre-riding times are included in the schedule; please do not pre-ride at other times.

On-site food will be available for purchase from El Rincon at Oak Hill School! Please support our local vendors!
